Cards and the inspiration behind them.

The Christmas card design all started back in 2005 when Caz and I could not decide (read agree) on a design from the shops. As Caz and I walked home an idea came to mind, she suggested that we create our own card and donate the money to charity ourselves, well the the rest is history.

And so this is how we came to create our Christmas cards. We have done 2 years worth (at the time of writing this and I'm working on the third year as I write this). So here are the designs and where they were taken. If you really like a photo drop me a line and perhaps I'll use it next year...

The Christmas card for 2007 featured a photo that I took in New York City a year before over my 30 birthday celebration.

This is indeed an edible ginger bread house and it looked so good I took a few photos. A Merry Christmas and one of my best birthdays ever.

This is the card that we sent out to everyone with our contact details for Hong Kong prior to our move.

The photo is a blend of two images from Hong Kong. The flag taken on a junk in the harbour, the tower from the peak overlooking the city.

This is the image that we used on the reverse side of the moving card - I think it sums up my love of London, it is of course a classic view of the London Eye with the Houses of Parliament in the background.

The photo is from Havana, Cuba - I asked a few gents if i could take their photo (they said yes, the dog didn't seem to care)

Our 2006 Christmas Card.

The photo is from Chicago - It was taken on a very cold morning (around 7 am) in the central memorial park before I went to work. And yes the snow was several feet deep!
